About Get Info
Get Info is a hyperlocal question-and-answer app for India. You pin a location, ask a question, and the answer comes from someone who is actually there, not from a search engine.
Why it exists
Search is good at what is written down. It is poor at what is happening on one street right now: whether a shop is open, how long a queue is, which road is blocked. Get Info connects people who need a local fact with people nearby who know it.
How it works
An asker pins a place and posts a question. Get Info matches it with answerers near that place, based on location and the topics they are comfortable answering. The asker reads the answers and accepts the one that helps.
How answers are paid for
Askers fund questions from an in-app wallet. Answerers are paid when their answer is accepted. The App Flow Guide lists what asking costs and what answering pays.
How content is moderated
Questions are checked automatically before they are posted, and harmful content is blocked. Accepted and rejected answers feed back into who future questions are matched to. Details are on the Trust & Safety page.
Who is behind it
Get Info is built in India as a product, and we answer for it as a product: the Terms, the Privacy Policy and the grievance contact below are the ways to reach us and to hold us to what we say.
